Japanese was extraordinarily difficult, but I think it pays off. With a language as different from English as Japanese is, I think you have to pass a certain threshold of work and study to ever gain lasting fluency.
I didn't think giving the speech today was that bad, though I did stumble over a line or two. Having peer editing really helped, and after memorizing much longer skits throughout the year a 2 minute speech is easy.
Finally, I want to thank Sensei. You put an amazing amount of effort into the class, and the results speak for themselves (pun alert).
